deep red color and very filling but moderatly watered down, nice to be able to find anywhere in the US, a good choice to stick with something easy to identify and have on a hot summer day.

Good attempt at a irish red, but not as hoppy or malty as I like. Lacks depth...Good for St. Patricks Day season and thats it

Pours a nice deep red with a slightly dark head. Moderately aromatic with a slightly sweet caramel taste. Of common beers this usually rates among my first choice if I am sticking with something simple.

On draft at a local restaurant. Deep reddish body with small off-white head. Aroma muted by the ridiculously cold glass it was served in. Taste dominated by caramel and mild biscuit notes. No real hop character to speak of.

(Bottle) Kinda surprised I haven’t rated this one yet. Pours a shade of amber with only a thin head. Aroma of sweet caramel. Taste is pretty similar, with a one-dimensional sweet malt flavor. Some toffee and light grain in here as well. Light palate, little lacing. Not a bad beer, but this underlying sweetness is too unbalanced to really enjoy.

This red malty beer just does not do it for me anymore...there are several other types of this nature that I avoid as well. Good for Coors but sub-par for all else.

Slight roasted malt aroma. Reddish amber color, thin head no lacing. Bland flavor, maybe a little metallic and generic bitterness. Leaves nothing on the palate, but faint non-hop bitterness.

12 oz bottle purchased by my brother in law. His "reliable". Poured an amber red with aromas of malt and some hops. Nice smooth flavor. Very drinkable. In large quantities this would be ok for me.
