Great malty aroma, and clean smooth palate. This is not a complex beer, but it definitely satisfies. Not much hops, but it has a great balance of malt, vanilla, and roses. wcampbell (577), Central, South Carolina, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Bottle. Dark amber with minimal head. Nothing too distinctive exept that the bakance places in above the AB lagers.
refreshing w/o too much carbination. 17thfloor (1488), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 31, 2007 Dark amber large beige head (disappers very quickly) w/ little carbonation. Smells of sweet malt/corn. Toasted malt flavor... tiny bit of hops in the background...leaves a little bit of bitterness. I used to love this beer as a daily... but I think leinenkugal’s red has it beat. kenb (1100), Oregon, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2007 12 oz bottle from Roth’s. Pours a clear amber with s smallto medoum sized white head. Nose is sweet and toffeeish. Taste starts sweet, some vanilla, toasted grains, some toffee, and a mild dose of floral hops in the end. Carbonation is moderate to high. Body is light/medium. Nothing to write home about but actually not a bad beer at all. Am shocked that this is from Coors?! jmikolich (405), Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 30, 2007 12oz bottle, consumed for Cavs win, against Detroit 2007 EC Finals. Not bad, very mild taste, easy to drink and easy to share, nothing fantastic but definitely my choice so far from the BMC Macros. Poobah (103), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 20, 2007 Light on aroma with some sweet notes. Amber color with decent, persistent head. Malty, carbonated intro followed by sweet somewhat hoppy, floral, vanilla aftertaste. Tastes like typical american lager, only with a little more character. Decent. Prcaus (159), New Jersey, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 16, 2007 Bottle-Amber-Reddish coloring, sweet/malt tastes, not overpowering. But the taste kind of builds up after a while. Nothing outstanding, but not bad. Mid grade at best for a Dark Lager
