| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 22, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a solid amber color with a small foamy head. The head is quick to dissipate. Mild nose with hints of malt and a touch of hops. Medium carbonation with a very light mouthfeel. Some malt sweetness and a touch of bitterness to help balance things out. Very short finish. Given the option of the other mass produced lagers and this, I would pick this every time. This stuff is pretty disappointing. Pours insanely clear amber with maybe hints of red. The aroma is a little bready, not much going on. Flavor is ok, some malty and sweet flavors, maybe some balancing hops. Palate is thin. Overall, better than Bud, but not much. boomerbrew (48), Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 8, 2009 Bottled pured into glass. The aroma was sweet malty with some hop note. Appearance was a nice clear amber-red but carbonation was little to none which knocked off a few points on the palate. Flavor was balanced malt/hop. Decent beer. fidelis83 (729), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 8, 2009 Updated: Apr 9, 2009Pours dark amber with a foamy 2 finger head that has poor retention. Aroma is sweet malt, planty and citric hops, toasted grain and bread, caramel, soap, some mild wood and weak floral notes. Flavor is caramel, toast, toasted wood, soap, an odd banana skin note, earth floral notes and grainy malt. Finish is pretty crisp and flavorless with a little burnt sugar and floral notes coming through. Palate is thin to medium-thin with a light but sharp carbonation and an unpleasantly thin feel. Pretty inoffensive for a macro, but... like the Leinie’s Honey Weise I sampled before it this sucked alot less the last time I had it. jaysonl69 (24), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Apr 5, 2009 This isn’t too close to what I would call "pleasant" but it didn’t have much flavor to offend, either. Kind of a dishwater flavor, but that could have been the glass, and if I can taste the glass, that says a lot about the beer. dmschefke (371), Eastpointe, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Not a bad beverage when only Bud, Miller, and other common beers are available in addition to this. Pours a nice amber with thick off-white head. Aroma mildly of hops, malt, but not much else. Taste has a slight bitterness and finishes with a smooth, pleasant aftertaste. Not bad altogether.
