Aroma starts out like that of cream, with an ever so slight sourness to it. Micro fine carbonation bubbles. While the flavor has traits of what you’d expect from a red, it’s more along the lines of a brown ale to me with slight banana-esque lingering aftertaste. Stale body perhaps? (It was on the close-out shelf afterall)

Has a bread malt taste with small notes of caramel. Taste is a bread malt with tastes of cherries, caramel and a little roasted malt. Medium carbonation, oily creamy texture, and the finish is unpleasant. steelersfan07 (8), Boise, Idaho, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 22, 2009 I like it. It’s cheap, looks good, and for the price it’s drinkable. On a budget I would get this beer again. beernbourbon (309), chicago, Illinois, USA

Aroma is not much; light malt mostly with a touch of hop. Flavor is smooth and so much lighter than I remember. Its really a pretty light malt and faint hop flavor. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle. This was one of my beers of choice when I was in college. So I may rate it a little higher then it deserves, but then again it is a good beer. Nice balance in the flavor. Great amber color. Just a good beer. noncaloric (625), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 16, 2009 Clear amber pour, frothy head diminishing to a spotty lace. Generally nutty malt aroma. Sweet, somewhat smoky toffee malts, generally spoiled by a staleness lurking in the background and carrying into the finish. Medium body, refreshing. Sledutah (110), Utah, USA
