Bottle. The aroma isn’t necessarily as appealing as I’d like,(mine seemed a little skunky), but the color is very enticing and the beer is very smooth on the palate. Has a nice strong taste at the beginning and a smooth, sweet finish.
One of the better beers I’ve had of late, and would definitely recommend.

Aug 19, 2008 This was one of my gateway beers, but once my palate evolved I cannot drink any more of it. It is a lot of water and a little bit of malt with some other cereal grains used as fillers with a horrible lager finish. It is really not worth the calories that one is intaking.

Aug 18, 2008 Bottle. One of my favorites of the macro brews. I used to drink this one all the time before getting into craft beer. But with that said, it’s still over all weak and watery. It’s a simple, clean lager and has more taste than the other American Pale Lagers out there. A decent compromise in dire situations.

Aug 15, 2008 Really pretty in my glass,nice red hue,slight malt aroma,medium head that dissipates quickly. This is much,much better in draught form than bottle,but not too bad over all

Aug 15, 2008 Bottled. I would like to try this on tap, as it seemed it might prove to be a different animal. Very simple average lager with a good taste and smooth finish.

Aug 10, 2008 On tap at Langano Lounge in Portland, OR--Poured a medium amber body with a nice average whitish head. Creamy, carbonic and bready with a small hops presence. Subtle and crisp but with the makings of a dull macrobrew.
