I can’t believe I haven’t rated this before. Deep amber with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly sweet and nutty with a touch of caramelly character. Flavour is also sweet and nutty with a bit of caramel. Chewy and lightly sweet with a bit of vienna malt character. It’s pretty drinkable, but it’s damn boring.

Jul 15, 2008 Taste7/8 Looks red/brown bottom, no head retention at all. Aroma: Very little to no aroma. A little caramel malt. Taste: Spicy bite with mellow malt. O.k. for macro.

Jul 13, 2008 Nice light amber color. Smooth and easy drink, lack of complex flavors but maltier than other macro style beers.

Jul 12, 2008 12oz bottle. Killians was one of the first decent beers I developed a taste for, so I might be a little easy on it. Filtered brown-amber color. Odd extinguished candle/off amber malt aroma. The flavor is malty enough, though with Coors at the helm I’m sure there is a healthy adjunct bill. Mellow sweet aftertaste. This is pretty much one of those beers you swear tasted better back in the day.
