Flavor has the bitterness of a west coast IPA, nice citrus lemon sweetness to balance... Not a bad pale ale... Pretty close to being an IPA, pretty decent humulushound (142), British Columbia, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 28, 2009 On tap at a Thai restaurant. Amber-red with a pinkish hue. Robust citrus in the nose (grapefruit, blood oranges), hints of red fruits and spicy hops. Tangy-hop taste and sweet, pale malt undertones paired well with the fiery food. Mouthfeel was smooth and slightly resinous, with balanced carbonation and a draw out citrus hop finish. I wish more Thai restaurants had beer like this on tap instead of the donkey-piss domestic and foreign lagers that pair poorly with the food. rayg1 (445), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA

Maybe it was just the fact that I hadn’t tasted hops in about two years but I really think this beer was a very good example of the style. Excellent nose with a touch of caramel sweetness yet refreshing and tangy citrus notes. Taste is a smooth mix of pine sap, toffee flavors, and grapefruit. VERY sessionable beer. Liked it alot, something I would love to mimic one day as a homebrew recipie for a session beer.

Great session APA. Aroma has citrus and hops. Bronze color . Great taste, not overwhelming bitterness. No wonder this is one of the most popular taps in Seattle. 22415brewery (67), redmond, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Pours a warm golden, sometimes a little hazy. Light Cascade/Citrus hops are followed by a slightly grainy aroma. If anything, this is a well-balanced and not overly-assertive pale ale. Finishes fairly dry and is very sessionable. Seems like this could be a superior example of an American Pale Ale if there was a bit more finishing hops and a touch more malt, I’ve had this beer several times and once in a while I can detect a fair amount of diacetyl. Good overall. jjuf1853 (482), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 10, 2009 On tap at the Knitting Factory. Tastes nutty--weird for a pale. Tastes a little watered down towards the end. Deep copper/amberish color. Interesting take on the American pale ale. llcooldave (339), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Poured a cloudy amber. Aroma was interesting with sweet cream and citrus. Flavor was not as hoppy as I would have thought for a pale ale. Fairly bland but there is a slight minty pine hops aftertaste. Overall, I expected it to be a bit more aggressive. I thought it was a bit boring.
