Crafty07 (334), Lexington, Kentucky, USA Dec 6, 2007 A draught pint poured at cool little restaurant calls Jak’s in Issaquah, Wa, this copper colored brew was aromatic, citrusy, and appatizingly bitter. Perfect pint to have before having a nice meal.
Seattle knows beer.
Hawksfan17 (655), Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 20, 2008 Pours a hazy golden amber. Smells of hops. Sometimes the name pale ale confuses me because I think of bitter hops and this was malty but the hops were present which I liked. It was smooth and drinkable. caesar (2537), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands Sep 6, 2008 Tap @ Safeco Field. Mariners vs Yankees, Brendan Morrow almost gets a no-hitter against the Yankees. What a great game. Light orange color. Bit malty and hop, some caramel. Ok stuff. anders37 (2738), Malmö, Sweden Aug 17, 2008 Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a small off-white head. Sweet malty earthy hop aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel and citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy finish. theisti (1084), Leawood, Kansas, USA Aug 6, 2008 Shaker pint draft at the Embassy Suites in Bellevue, Washington. Pour is cloudy orange amber with a nice white head. Aroma is clean with a slightly grainy citrus hop, followed with nicely balanced biscuit malt. Taste is good, featuring the unfiltered hop and malt mix. Mirrors the nose well. Aftertaste is a little bit funky, and really the only complaint I have with the beer. Nice everyday beer, was great with a spicy dish I had. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Jul 29, 2008 Pale copper penny coloring with a two finger frothy head that receds into some lovely lacing. Very sessionable with a solid caramel maltinessand a dry bitter hop finish.
