Bottle. Pours a caramel brown with a large light brown head. Aroma is lightly spiced but predominat tone is light caramel with some sweetness following. Taste is not so grand- feels like it has a lot of potential but is too thin on the mouth. Still sweet and slightly caramel, short slightly bitter finish. But light.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strong head and a warm roasted aroma. The flavour is rich and roasted with lashings of dark berries. Overall a reasonable beer.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at the Ramstein AB BX. Pours a hazy medium amber. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, alcoholic, roasty dark. Not nearly as good as some of the other Abbey Dubbels I’ve had recently.

Bottle. Dark red brown with a small head. Aromas are toffee malts with chocolate and berries. Yeasty with some plummy notes. Flavours are sweet toffee and chocolate with berries. Some medicinal notes. Thin on the finish.

Red-brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma has caramel malts and some dark fruits. Flavour is very plain, of caramel malts and brown sugar. Have to agree with HermanW, not much taste on this one.

I found the aroma bit spicy, but entire. Dark colour with a white and frothy head. Taste is bit alcoholic with notes of roasted malt, Creamy body.

Dit smaakt niet naar een abbey dubbel. Er zit een beetje weinig smaak aan.
