Dit smaakt niet naar een abbey dubbel. Er zit een beetje weinig smaak aan.

On tap. Reddish brown colour, nice beige head. Aroma of caramel, dark fruits. Flavour is sweet, brown sugar, dark fruits. A bit thin, but an OK dubbel.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark red with a small head and the aroma of malts and sugar. The taste is full sugared, with a sour note in the end and it’s not really full-bodied like a real dubbel should be. Just a nice beer, but nothing out of the ordinary

Bottled from AH in Mestreech. Clear mahagony color. malty nose, beige thin, quickly diminishing head with some lacing. Aroma has malts and some roasted caramel. Flavour has some soury bitterness. A bit watery for a dubbel

Courtesy of bierkoning, thanks Edo! Clear dark ruby color. Malty, caramelly, berry-like aroma. Toffeish flavor with prunes, some berries and candy sugar. Sweetish aftertaste. Plain abbey dubbel.

Dark brown body, small beige head. Aroma of coffe, toffee. The flavour is worse than i expected...So, terrible... Medicine with some coffe. If i taste some chemical coffeine, it would be like this taste...Dry and roasted but bad aftertaste. Have i some cold shivers by this stuff? What the f..k is this?
