Colour is dark brown with a thin whit, slightly tanned head. Bit of friut spice and maltyness to the aroma. Flavor is sweet with phenols and esters. The body is full with lots of small sparkels. The finish is somewhat dry but leaves the impression of the full body. Overall a nice example of the style. BJCP - 18B.

Beautiful deep red beer with beige head, aroma with cherries and berries. The flavor is quite sweet, turning sweeter during the drink, starting with cherries and (cran?)berries, ending caramelly. Quite nice, not very complex but easy drinkable and pleasant.

On tap at the brewery Quite a difference from the bottle. So much more refreshing. Sweet, butterscotch, light spices. Much better. Bottled, 2.9 Spicy, some licorice aroma. Dark brown/red colour, nice head. Bit bitter, rather thin, some sweetness, spicy. Finish is short with hop bitter and licorice.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strong head and a warm roasted aroma. The flavour is rich and roasted with lashings of dark berries. Overall a reasonable beer.
