Archibaldo de la Cruz (106), Finland Sep 2, 2008 Bottle. Copper colour with a beige head. Sweet and malty nose. Tastes sweet, malty and slightly bitter with notes of fruits. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Could be a little bit stronger in taste but on overall it was quite good. SilkTork (3882), Rochester, Kent, England Sep 1, 2008 Chris_o’s GBBF Shindig August 08. Sweet and strong with a lingering bitterness. Like a strong dark tea with sugar. yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 27, 2008 Bottle. A clear, copper beer with a beige head. Sweetish, slightly fruity nose with cooked vegetables playing a too big part. Caramel-sweet and grainy, rather fruity flavor with the vegetables being too evident here too. Quite thin body for a bock. Cooked vegetables, sweet maltyness and some hops in the finish, but low on bitterness. Ok for a bock though. A drinkable, but not very well-crafted bock.
