Bottle. A clear, copper beer with a beige head. Sweetish, slightly fruity nose with cooked vegetables playing a too big part. Caramel-sweet and grainy, rather fruity flavor with the vegetables being too evident here too. Quite thin body for a bock. Cooked vegetables, sweet maltyness and some hops in the finish, but low on bitterness. Ok for a bock though. A drinkable, but not very well-crafted bock. (080731)

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of kappldav123. Pours ruby red with a thin tan head. Smells earthy with some spicy hints. Tastes earthy and sugary with a bitter finish.

Oct 3, 2008 Bottle @ PLan B. Depp amber coloured with a medium sized creamy and off-white head. Quite malty with notes of bread, plums, caramel, grain and a slight grassy hops feel. Nice mouthfeel.

Pours a deep red with a small, creamy, off-white head on top. Aroma has lots of rye bread some plums and doughiness. Low carbonation, fair mouthfeel - slightly creamy. Flavour starts off a bit metallic, lots of rye bread again and is pretty sweet. Very little chocolate, but there are plums and coconut (?). A bit of hoppiness at the far end. Not my thing.

Sep 11, 2008 Updated: Sep 28, 2008<i>Bottled. </i> Clear dark amber, small head. From nose to finish licorice molasses and bread dominates. It’s sweet and dense, fruity and salty with solid body and fairly soft mouthfeel. Finishes with medium bitterness.
