DYC said it best starts watery and stays that way. But since this classic got ChazyRph and I through a year of college it will always hold a place in my heart. ChazyRPh (571), Chazy, New York, USA

A true favorite of Club Warren in Albany, NY. We could buy this stuff by the case for $8.00 for the 16oz. bombers. "A quality brew at an economical price". I thought they stopped brewing this stuff, but my old college roommate, who lives just outside of Wilkes-Barre, PA (where this nectar was brewed), managed to find a case hidden in the back room of some beer distributer. Well aged to say the least. Malty nose with some hints of yeast. Light, smooth and easy to drink throughout, which is what made it such a favorite among the club members. Not much taste, some malt and very mild hops. I am kind of partial to the Gibbons myself, because as the bottle reads..."Gibbons is Good" DYCSoccer17 (2201), Davis, California, USA

This is a 16 oz bottle. Pours a light straw color thats transparent with a 1.5cm fizzy white head. Nose is kind of fruity with maybe a hint of yeast in there as well. Start is light and watery, which persists throughout. The only notable taste is a metallic taste in the finish. "Pocono Mountain Water Makes a Difference" is what reads on the label. I am guessing that they used a little too much. I also find it very ironic that this "Famous Lager" has only been rated by 3 others before me. surfmurf (77), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

I had not seen in in some time until I was upstate and decided to give it a try. This was surprising, especially for a cheap beer. Sort of makes you wonder why the cheap brews of the big breweries can't at least duplicate this. Good for the price and well worth a look! DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
