JAF737300 (733), New York, New York, USA Apr 29, 2007 Although Bock beers are not my style, this was a nice sweet style bock that had some caramel notes and hints of cocoa. The palate was nice and the finish was long. willblake (1897), Long Branch, New Jersey, USA Apr 26, 2005 04.23.05 TAP NY. Full bodied, creamy. Lots of chocolate. Better than the SA Choco Bock I had the night before, more chocolatey, better balance of roast and body. bigrond (826), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 24, 2005 another TAP new york treasure. This beer was great - in fact everything gilded otter had was great. I am now a fan pivo (2481), Germany Mar 17, 2005 Light caramelly, woody nose. Dark chesnut color and a low tight head. Toffee, chocolate, malt all in the body with a dry nutty end. Clean palate and a medium body. Respectable and enjoyable. mkobes (1963), New York, USA Mar 8, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. Clear copper in color with a nice tan head. Malty, nutty aroma. Very clean tasting. Not a bad beer. Full bodied. Malty clean flavor with some chocolate notes. Well made beer. Subtle alcohol. Nice.
