Draught at Beer Circus, Brussels. Brown with a bubbly, small head. Sourish aroma; vinegar. Almost flat. Kinda sweet but still with fine soruish notes. Some light vinous touch with fruitiness; raisins.

Bottle. Sweet sugar and sour musty malt aroma. Dark amber with large head. Creamy, slightly sweet malt flavor initially folowed by musty barnyard flavor. Not overly sweet.

From tap/cask at Bier Circus according to the chalkboard - I did see a 10 L box of this while easting and the beer was served living room temp. hot. Pours cola brown, clear, has a little bobbly white head. Light caramel aroma, light sweet note, but mainly a mild butterish note. Sweet caramel flavour wit a light butterish flavour and somewhat butterish mouthfeel. Light caramel lingering finish, shows a mild acidic bite aswell. Just plain boring cane sugarish and caramel brew.

Draught at the Beer Circus, Brussel, Belgium. Clear orange brown, like tea, with a few bubbles. Cidery aroma with some woody notes, brown sugar and raisins. Light in body and soft, good balance with a light sweetness followed by a dry and bitter finish. My first sample of this style, and it was not very exciting.

Thanks to Fordest for sharing. Pours amber with a minimal white head. Aroma of burnt candied sugar, however the burnt sugar aroma is quick to dissipate. Flavors were sweet and tart.

Tasted 2008-02-28. Bottle of unknown date. Pours clear, amber with off-white head. Aroma: Canned peaches, brown sugar, a little citrus. Flavours: A little bitter/sweet, some tartness, brown sugar, peaches. Semi dry body. OK, but I find it a little boring.

My first Faro. By far my favorite. Nice sour, tart, burnt sugar flavors. Very much appreciated that this was shared. Not to many in this style floating around.
