| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2007 375ml bottle at Delirium Cafe. Huge head, dark brown pour. Burnt table sugar aroma -- scorched, even -- mushrooms and earth. Odd sweetness in the flavor, sugar is prevelent but mushrooms cover up most of the sweet. An odd drink, tastes kind of old & shot. Still looking for some real, fresh faro. motelpogo (4394), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2007 My Bottom Line:
The fruitiness of tangy citrus and peach skins arbors the calculated wooden funk, as the brown sugar cornerstone progressively attenuates this lambic character until the tranquil finish is reached. This is a well-carved quencher which might help a few into the appreciation of lambic family products.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the clear twilight orange.
-The tiny bubbles are fierce and expansive; this one gets better as it breathes.
-I would like that tartness to be prolonged somewhat, but then again that might make this stray from the style too much.
-There is enough funk throughout to recognize the lambic within.

Sounds about right. This is my first faro, I was pretty excited for this. Pours a hazy amber orange with a white head that disappears quick. The nose is sour with apples, oak, and must like a dusty attic that has oak floors, with apples starting to rot. So tart. Those notes apples, oranges, oak, musty, earthy, and surprisingly sugarry. A little acidic but not so. Interesting beer. johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA

Clear rusty yellow with waves of tiny streaming bubbles that maintain a slim white head. Soft peach sweetness gives way to floral vinegar. Taste is more dilute than other lambics i’ve had but certainly doesn’t diminish the appeal. Creamy lemon pith with subdued champagne carb. Earthy plum pits and sour apricot. Dry bready finish with hints of pepper and clover honey. I’m quite surprised this was so good. Style 70/71! rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Dark amber hue, with a beige big head, leaving laces, sweet sugary wheaty malt nose with some barnyard and musty accents, with a stewed apple fruity note, some wet oakiness, candy sugar, and a tart aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a wild yeast mustiness, some toasted caramelized malts, with some sweet and tart notes, with a hint of fruity pruney accent, with a wet woody, oaky character, some candy sugar, leading towards a sweet malty, tart and acidic finish. My kind of beer!
