By far the best of the 4 faros I’ve had; Bottle from Papsoe; Nose of funk and horseblanket; Orange-gold with a small offwhite head; Flavor of tart apple, very light, but well balanced sweetness, a little caramel, with a tart finish; unlike the other faros I’ve had well balanced and closer to a guezue in flavor, not so sweet!

Bottled. Dark rubyish brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel and a lot of sourness. Flavour is the same with some malty and fruity hints. Also slight metallicness noted.

Bottle 37,5 cl. (Yesterday @ KBW) Deep orange/amber color with a small white head. Aroma was little caramel, and lambic like, some sweetness. Medium body. Taste malty, gueuze like, light sweet - sourness. Good balance.

Bottle in Mechalen, north? wee cafe where we had a drinkl while we realised we had got off at the wrong station. Aroma is spitsery tart fruit, hints of lambic funk but sweetness getting in the way. Taste is a bit bloody, caramel malts stop the gueuze from getting through.

Bottle (From RBF07). Suprisingly deep colour. Fruity toffeish sugars mixed with more lambic like aromas. The sourness from the lambic is present but is mostly overwhelmed by the slightly artificial sweetness which doesnt always combine well with the sourness - producing an almost sweet smell of sick. Better than the lindemann faro I tried.
