Poured a red amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of butterscotch, nuts, caramel, wood, and light oxidation. Taste of brown sugar, with more caramel, nuts, light wood, with citrus, and a tart, bretty finish.

Bottle: Sourly aroma of citrus, vinegar and sourish fruits. Ruby red color, small off-white head. Light caramelic sugar notes but largely quite sourly flavor with light notes of cider, vinegar and citrus. Quite astringent finish. Quite nice candy note but all in all not overwhelming.

Poured a mostly clear amber color with a small off-white head. the aroma was a mix of sweet malt and tartness. Notes of sweaty feet and apples. The flavor was tart and sweet. Tart red apples. The finish was clean, dry and acidic. Medium bodied with a soft mouthfeel.

Thanks to the Atlanta crew for sharing. The only style I hadn’t already had!!! Clear amber, very thin light tan head. Nose is sweet caramel, funky, cheese. Flavor is lemon, caramel, grape, orange. Acidic but sweet finish, some lemonhead notes. Very bright fruit.

Bottle from rake. Reddish amber with a very thin white head. Nose of red wine, vinegar and brown sugar. Tart yeasty grapefruit taste with a sweet caramel finish and fine carbonation. All the attributes of a nice gueuze with a sweet edge. Mmmmm....

On tap @ Zythos. Amber color, aroma of dry, sour fruits. Coppery, cidery flavor with the musty-dusty finish of a drink that’s been open on your nightstand for a few days. And excellent. Not an especially sweet faro, as the sugar mellows the sourness into a balanced, refreshing drink. RE-RATED after tasting at Bier Circus, where it was darker and sweeter than I remember.

Bottle. Pours a pale red with a fizzy head that completely disappears. Mildly fruity aroma. Lightly fizzy mouthfeel as well. An initial sweetness that turns slightly sour.

Bottle. Head was average fizzy and white which mostly diminished. Body was slightly cloudy like with an amber reddish colour. Aroma was quit a surprise with a strange combination of sweat, horse blanket, barnyard, leather, earth, mould and other notes of light flowers and some grapefruit, vinegar and apple. Mouthfeel wasn’t unpleasant as you might thing after that description. Light sour fruit with light notes of sweetness blending in. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation and a slightly acidic finish. Strange experience, but not entirely unpleasant.
