A deep red beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of sugar on a sour background but also hints of wood. The flavor is dominated by grapefruit and is sweet on a sour background with notes of wood lending it a dryness and hints of brown sugar. The sourness is not that accentuated, but yet it draws some mouthwater. It ends on a note of grapefruit.

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a creamy, beige head. Odd, tart aroma - sweaty Brettomyces - and then some notes of burned caramel. Medium body with sweet’n’sour accents with a rather astringent tartness ending up as the winner. Very complex and rather interesting. 081006

Sampled draught (bag-in-box) at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Reddish amber, clear no head. Apple aroma. Sweet and still, fruity and clean. Pleasant and caramelly up front, but with artificial saccaharine liek finish. Not up to par with the rest of the Girardins

From tap/cask at Bier Circus according to the chalkboard - I did see a 10 L box of this while easting and the beer was served living room temp. hot. Pours cola brown, clear, has a little bobbly white head. Light caramel aroma, light sweet note, but mainly a mild butterish note. Sweet caramel flavour wit a light butterish flavour and somewhat butterish mouthfeel. Light caramel lingering finish, shows a mild acidic bite aswell. Just plain boring cane sugarish and caramel brew.

Bottle. 37.5 cl. Unclear orange color with a average fizzy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is light toffee / caramel, berry sweet and sour. Initial flavor is moderate sweet and finish flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 5%. Quite sweet, slightly vinous and mouldy aroma. Seemingly clear chestnut colour. Very small head, low carbonation. The flavour is slightly sour and quite vinous, like port the way I do not like it. Not very sweet. OK for a faro (which I have trouble enjoying).

Bottled. Dark rubyish brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel and a lot of sourness. Flavour is the same with some malty and fruity hints. Also slight metallicness noted.

Bottled. Clear orange coloured with a lasting white head. Acidic aroma with notes of fruits. Very carbonated. Acidic flavour with woody notes. Very refreshing.
