rickgordon (3061), Göteborg, Sweden May 12, 2008 Bottled. Beer Circus, Brussels.
Ultra clear copper colour. No head. Raisiny nose with no sweetness detected. Raisin backbone in flavour, with slight sweetness and bit woody. Nice, balanced beer.
yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 26, 2008 Bottle at Del7irium Cafe, Gothenburg. A slightly hazy copper colored beer with a fingerthick off-white head. Lovely sourish, funky and mellow nose with some sugar. Nice, sugar-sweet, fruity and lemoney flavor. Quite carbonated, sweetish yet astringent mouthfeel, and a long, sweet finish with citrus flavors. Definiately a nice one. Nice Dedollewaitor (2047), Odense, Denmark Jul 27, 2008 37,5cl @ Olbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours cloudy amber/orange with a creamy lasting head. Aroma is mouldy, sweet, cellar, vinegar & dusty. Medium body & carbonation. Some apple & fruity notes. Delicious & drinkable Faro. Blom (651), Odense, Denmark Jul 21, 2008 Updated: Jul 30, 2008Orange brown with a funky sour nose and a huge head. The flavours are weird and in strange directions, at one point I even tasted pizza and tomato juice.. The big picture is sugarish sourness though with a nice wooden touch. But why on earth are there additives in my lambic?!! Weren’t the lambics supposed to be original, natural examples of Belgian brewing tradition?
