Apparently with a lot of life in it whether it is carbonation or just the yeast. Solid fresh raspberry aroma. Strange though not unpleasant creamy mouthfeel. Flavor of raspberries and mild acidity. henrikb (1303), Aarhus, Denmark
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 17, 2006 Beautiful pink head on a red and deep orange body, beautiful laces; Deep complex nose, very pleasant but could be a bit more up-front, super balanced mix of sour, sweet, fresh, age. It has raspberry, orange, wood, sour and dry notes, very, very pleasant; The body has a very special texture and carbonation, that melts together with an oily feel with out being the least sticky and still staying super fresh, quite full, a little sour and a very little salty; Into a very long finish where the aroma is super mellow and flows out softly, the acidity is very pleasant and stays very long. Super, super, super beer! hughie (3067), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | May 31, 2006 Brown-pink colour. Strong fruit aroma. The taste is a blend of fruity sweetness and tartness with a sharp bitter edge. I thought it was delicious. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 21, 2006 Bottle. Pours a red-brown body with an off-white pinish head. The aroma is very flowery with notes of raspberries and oak. Flavour profile tends to be more of a straight fruit beer as the wheat and bretty character are mostly non-existant. There is lots of juicy fruit but the carbonation is quite high and not pleasant.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Bottle. Clear orangey red with a small head after the initial flooding when the bottle was opened. Overpowering sweet raspberry aroma. The flavours are slightly more complex, still sweet with lots of raspberry, but drying out towards the finish with some woody and tart notes. Quite fizzy. Rather good, but light-years away from their black label oude geuze. joergen (8617), Frederiksberg, Denmark
