The dregs are quite syrupy, refusing to blend with the rest of the liquid. Aroma is sweet, raspberry, light syrup. Taste is medium sweet, definitely raspberry, tart, some sourness. Light body, light effervescence, acidity. YogiBeera (2437), Hamburg, Germany

Of course raspberries in the nose and also in the taste. Also woody. The balance between sweetness and sourness is quite good and has a long lasting very refreshing aftertaste. Dark orange red, pink lacing creamy head.
Big sweet raspberry aroma.
Fruit, ashen yeasty notes, quick dry fruity finish. Somewhat thin. Refreshing, but a bit boring really. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 6, 2005 Huge, clean raspberry aroma with a steady undercurrent of barnyard tones. Clear, reddish brown body with rocky, pink-tinged head that coats the glass and lasts throughout. Raspberry flavour shines through the light, tart, farmy, lambic character making this seem more like a fruit beer than a lambic, never-the-less it is very enjoyable. Light, refreshing body with soft, fine-bubbled carbonation. Sampled at GBBF 2005. lululegrand (94), gent, Belgium

Fine raspberrie aroma, also hints of acceto balsamico, wood, banyard and robarber-jam. Taste is well in balace with fine soury accents and with a good round body. Great afthertaste with a refreshing raspberrie finish. Papsoe (15077), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 2, 2005 (Bottle 37,5 cl) Pale, hazy red with a small pink head. Very raspberry nose and flavours. Framboises can often be a cloying, not so pleasant experience, but as this is based on unsweetened lambic it’s very fresh and not too tart. Rather delicate indeed. 060498
