Light hazy soft red color (brick-red) with small pinkish head. Very refreshing raspberry aroma with touches of unripe prunes, bergamotte and mirabells. also a faint earthy and barnyard accent in the nose. Taste is to my taste well balaced, the sourness is crisp and dry. The body has a good roundness with accents of fresh crumble cakes with soft custard cream and topped with fresh raspberries and jam of bergamottes. In the afthertaste the faint woody and forrest soil accents are cominig up. The finish is dry with an elegant roundness.

A Mes rate: Bottle from the Belgian Belly.
I must be honest right away and say I was expecting more from this one. That said it is very good stuff all the same. Where is the sour funk and barnyard from the wonderful kriek? So far, and I am sure this will change, the best framboise I have had is the Boon. This was not quite as good. I am quite sad. Ok doom and gloom over. All said and done, it’s a fruit beer, tastes great, lovely framboise nose to finish. Very nice but not genius

Bottle. Fresh raspberry and yeast aroma. Deepred color with medium head. Sweet raspberry flavor initially with a sour finish. Nice fruit lambic that isn’t overly sweet and still has lambic characteristics.

Red with big pink head. The aroma is sweet raspberry. Taste is sweet with raspberry. Reminds a bit like raspberry jam. A bit too sweet

37.5 cl bottle, bbe Jan 08. Bright vermillion, sparkling, rich white head. Raspberries dominate the aroma; some bread and raisins, too. The taste begins sweet with a lot of raspberry but quickly goes into dry, sourish, woody notes which give a mild aftertaste. Fine stuff, well a bit mainstream.

37.5 cl bottle w/ cork & wire. Served in Cantillon stem glass. Red color. Nice, pale pinkish, fine-bubbled head w/ good lacing and lastability. Sweetish raspberry aroma. The flavor is pleasantly balanced: raspberry sweetness coexisting w/ delicate tartness. Dryish finish. Fine, prickly mouthfeel. Good drinkability.

Mild raspberry aroma, with some funky cheese and citrus notes. Light red in colour with a small pink head. Sweet berrys, mildly funky/farmy with some citrus tartness. Nice refreshing beer, quite subtle too.
