Taste is very sweet, raspberries. Some tartness not much. Not a bad beer but too sweet. The raspberry is very present and tasteful but it if far from a real lambic. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Bottle thanks to Glouglouburp! Beautiful shimmering tea-red, small bubbly white head. Incredibly strong strawberry nose, hints of tart citrus notes, but on the whole very sweet. More sour notes in the flavor, some wood and hay, but again, strawberry clearly dominates. Then comes the brett with warmth, Moderate carbonation, slightly thin body with short finish, very very smooth. Incredibly enjoyable, like KRE level enjoyment, and it is never too sweet, but the complexity is missing and it isn’t sour enough. Pinball (2990), Allerød, Denmark

cork comes off with a pop, but no beer spills out.beautiful clear red, thick fluffy light-pink head.
aroma totally spot on fresh raspberries. incredibly fresh. after settlling for a few seconds starts to whiff marcipan , faint stable and some sourness.
flavor is refreshingly fresh raspberries and other berries (a bit more citric than raspberries, as if fresh cranberries or something similar had been added), also some sourness and some citric fruitiness. very refreshing. i can’t really think of what should be done to improve this flavor. marcus (1893), Sacramento, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2009 This reddish orange beer poured into a Girardin tulip with a thin pinkish head and a strong raspberry aroma. The berries are well-blended with the Lambic base to produce a mild, but delicious fruit flavor that is slightly sour. cgarvieuk (4208), Edinburgh, Scotland

Seems to have mellowed the tartness a little. Not massive sweetness which can kill it for me. Really enjoyed it. Maria (6303), Thisted, Denmark

The aroma has sourness and a light sweetness and notes of raspberries and marzipan. The flavour has sourness and a light sweetness and loads of raspberries. It is quenching, tart and refreshing, a step further than the sugar-sweet ones.
