Finally located a bottle at Toronado. Did not disappoint. As others have said, it’s a massively complex, compelling, challenging, yet emminently drinkable beer. Would love to have a case of this!

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 3, 2010 Very nice poor into a tulip glass. It was very golden with minimal head and was very balanced between sweet and sour. It is my favorite Lambic- Gueze to date. It smells very fruity and reminiscent of a cold cider. It was very easy and settling and a joy to drink. The beer is very sweet and has a very nice acidity level with a very refreshing finish. This beer style is slowly becoming my favorite due to the explosive taste and sour finishes. It is a very refreshing low ABV beer that is a must have when available. dkachur (2437), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 2, 2010 375 mL bottle courtesy of tarheels86. Thanks! Pours a hazy orange color with a medium fizzy head. Fair head retention and lacing. Clean, smooth and tart aroma with some barnyard mustiness, citrus and mild tannic funk. Taste is smooth at first with some mild funk and big citrus that builds. Very big citrusy lemon with a bit of sweetness lending itself to a lemonhead candy vibe. Something slightly vegetal at the very beginning. Medium bodied. Very smooth and well balanced. Very tasty. changeup45 (807), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 1, 2010 Bottle from Knightly. Funky aroma with whiffs of cherry, barnyard, horseblankets. Overall a musty scent which is nice. Bright orange-gold color with a huge fluffy off-white head. A ton of lacing left behind that scatters all over the glass. This is tart, sour and a bit sharp which leaves a nice mild tingle on the senses. Flavors are lots of funk, with peaches, cherries and grapefruit. The sweetness of the beer is countered nicely by a dry numbing. Insanely drinkable while still being intense. I dig this and I’m starting to dig the style a lot more too. pineypower (1109), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 29, 2009 Pours out a murky straw color with a moderate off white fluffy head. Aroma is of citrus, some funk, barnyard and some hay. Notes of citrus, some funky sour notes, and slight underlying citrus sweetness in there. Another solid beer from a style I’m starting to appreciate more and more. WLG423 (86), Connecticut, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 14, 2009 Pours out a yellow orange. Aroma is rich and rather sour with almost a musty smell that complements notes of sour citrus, hay and horse blanket. Rather effervescent with a nice complex and sour flavor. Slightly woody and earthy with a comfortable citrus character. The sour flavor continues in a nice finish that is a little aggressive but quite enjoyable. tokyogoat (586), San Diego, California, USA

Nose is strong of the pedio and lacto souring, lemon, and peach.
Taste is pretty puckeringly sour. Hints of fruit, lemon, green apple, not too dry either. Truly a world class lambic. Toxygen (402), Sanford, Florida, USA
