Jun 26, 2007 Pre-RBSG Milwaukee: Bottle thanks to Blake! Poured a hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma, funky, and bready, some yeast, and a touch of lemony sourness. Flavor, tart and funky to start, some woody notes, and a nice sourness to it. Very balanced, my kind of gueuze.

Jun 26, 2007 Bottle thanks to Blake! Poured clear amber (initially) with a short cap white head.. left a creamy ring. Aroma was of sour vinegar notes upfront with dusty, barn-y yeast rolling behind.. nice balance, and a touch milder than the black on all fronts. Heavy vinegar sourness in the flavor with sweet splintery oak notes.. woodiness abounds through the finish along with bunches of vinegar sourness. Sour, but well-played on the palate.. well-balanced and wonderfully tasty!

Jun 16, 2007 Clear golden body with a big fluffy white head. Funky lactic acid and lemon fronts some sweet wheat malt in the aroma. Balanced malt and sour flavors - lightly toasted wheat under lemony horseblanket. A very solid gueuze - could be more unbalanced IMO.

Honey golden color, small white head. Nose has sour milk, barnyard, glue and earth. Suprisingly sweet with sweet stout like flavors, of course some sourness, barnyardish flavors. Grapefruit and lemon are dominating flavors. Ok lambic, but I liked black version much more.

Jun 15, 2007 Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sour fruit, wood and a lot of barnyard. Flavour is sweetish sour fruits along with some wood and earth. More carbonation than in most gueuzes, but still very smooth. Wellbalanced and quite sour thing. I like.

Jun 9, 2007 Bottle shared by the generous Orlando crew! The beer pours to a really sour, musty, feet and barnyard aroma. Clean golden body with a fizzy white head. Tart, sweet, funky, sour, cheesy flavors. Complex. Seems more blended and balanced than the Black Label. The beer is definitely less intense/tart.

May 31, 2007 Beer back in my room after punishing the kulminator. Notes say: Flemish ale tartness, sour with lemons, i love it, but not as much as the black.
