Dec 27, 2006 Light orange colored, no head. Nice fruity aroma with strong sour touch and orange. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is even more sour with fruity orange touch, aftertaste lasts. Slightly one dimensional flavor.

fine hazy, foggy look, medium white top.
Aroma: green gooseberry, some sweetness on top. Rose petals, fresh green apple juice. (7+)
Very organic, sour fresh raw young fruit like. More of green gooseberries. Tart, sweet fruity character followed all to the finish.

Dec 11, 2006 750ml Bottle @ Decemberfest 2006; thanks to mds: Pours pumpkin coloured, a good finger width of creamy head, excellent retention and lacing throughout. Great start. The aroma is very sour, lots of orange and apricot. Flavour is equally sour, fruity, notable gooseberries and bittering hops. My second gueuze, and I much preferred this one to the previous.

Dec 10, 2006 Bottle @ Doug’s. Thanks to Mike. Yellow/gold, creamy white head. Nose is lemon, apple, oak and funk. Flavor is dry lemon, oak, quite sour/bitter. Relatively hoppy. Reminds me slightly of Iris.

Dec 10, 2006 37.5cl bottle. Amber, pretty champagne bubbles, blanket head. Peach, caramelized apple and horseblanket aroma. Fairly fruity in the flavor as well - citrus, plenty on the sugars, fermented hay, a few wooden notes. Fairly dry, but not puckeringly sour - fairly easy drinkable.

Dec 2, 2006 Transparant body with a small-ish head which fades pretty quickly. Awesome smooth aroma with incredible depth. Really nice. The taste is much more sour than you’d expect from the aroma, pretty strong tart and a sharp tangy bite too it. But it definitely was well balanced, and certainly deep & interesting. Dry, sour finish. Refreshing and nice.

Dec 1, 2006 750 mL bottle provided by boutip. This is my 1500th rating and 100th Belgian beer rating. Pours hazy orange sunset with a fizzy and foamy off-white average sized head, lasting, spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, straw), average hops (citrus, grass, flowers), average yeast (dust) with notes of lemon, cassis and cask. Light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness, lemon zest, cardboard, cask and sour fruit flavor. Medium bodied, fizzy and foamy palate, spicy texture.
