Sweeter than the "heartburn"-stuff, but literally refreshing......... rudolf (1787), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2007 Rich ruby body, creamy pink head. Nose is cherries & wood - far more fruit than expected. Rich and hearty but still bright. Flavor is a big sweet cherry hit @ first. The sour takes over, resulting in a cough syrup character. Bitterness next, then cherry re-emerges in the finish. Somewhat muddled. bu11zeye (5675), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 1, 2007 I could be wrong but i think this bottle was filtered? Aporma is excellent lambic tartness with small hints and cherry. Taste is refreshing, noteable cherry and cherry stones, nutty towards the end, a very good kriek. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 26, 2007 37.5 cl bottle (with cork marked X0607- I suppose that is the best before date?). Glowing orangey red colour and a light pink head with fine bubbles. Woody aroma with lemony lambik characteristics and only a hint of cherries. Lemons flavours, some light cherry in the middle, but in the end it is wood that rules. A touch of almonds as well. Lightish body. Complex and very drinkable, nicely balanced. Judging from other raters this seeems to be a beer that varies quite a bit from bottle to bottle. This one was great, though. fonefan (11891), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2007 250 ml bottle. Reddish two finger head, mostly diminishing. Beautiful, clear red/amber body. Inital aroma of horseblanket and barnyard, followed by a more mellow and sour/sweet cherry scent. Lots of acidicy in the flavor. Sour cherries is prominent, but also notes of sweetness and almond. Well corbonatied with a spritzy mouthfeel. Long dry finish. Nice.
