Bottle (0.375l): Hazy, red-brown coloured, big, persistent pink head; fruity, a bit burgundy-like and musty nose; solid sweet-sour flavour, light bodied, soft MF; sweet-sour finish with lambic qualities in the aftertaste. Sweeter than the "heartburn"-stuff, but literally refreshing.........

Rich ruby body, creamy pink head. Nose is cherries & wood - far more fruit than expected. Rich and hearty but still bright. Flavor is a big sweet cherry hit @ first. The sour takes over, resulting in a cough syrup character. Bitterness next, then cherry re-emerges in the finish. Somewhat muddled.

(750ml bottle, bottled 03/01) Pours a light ruby red body with a small pinkish head. Has a funky, earthy sour aroma. Flavor of subtle sour cherries and wood.

Body-almandine brown with a 1 inch foamy head. Nose-wood smoke, cigarette smoke, brown sugar. Taste-tobacco, dry, medium acidic sour on the back end, sour cherries, prickly CO2, tea like tannins, rather thin, light artificial sweetener taste.

I could be wrong but i think this bottle was filtered? Aporma is excellent lambic tartness with small hints and cherry. Taste is refreshing, noteable cherry and cherry stones, nutty towards the end, a very good kriek.

37.5 cl bottle (with cork marked X0607- I suppose that is the best before date?). Glowing orangey red colour and a light pink head with fine bubbles. Woody aroma with lemony lambik characteristics and only a hint of cherries. Lemons flavours, some light cherry in the middle, but in the end it is wood that rules. A touch of almonds as well. Lightish body. Complex and very drinkable, nicely balanced. Judging from other raters this seeems to be a beer that varies quite a bit from bottle to bottle. This one was great, though.

Bottle. 37.5 cl. Unclear medium red color with a averge to large frothy good lacing mostly lasting pink head. Aroma is light cherry, sweet and sour. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acetic with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Very refreshing and fruit sour.

250 ml bottle. Reddish two finger head, mostly diminishing. Beautiful, clear red/amber body. Inital aroma of horseblanket and barnyard, followed by a more mellow and sour/sweet cherry scent. Lots of acidicy in the flavor. Sour cherries is prominent, but also notes of sweetness and almond. Well corbonatied with a spritzy mouthfeel. Long dry finish. Nice.
