Flavors are cherries, raspberries, lemon, grapefruit, with some subdued mustiness in the background. Medium acidity and controlled sourness--not extreme in any direction. An accessible kriek. Velvet, red-rose color wjtb a nice rosé head and a swift carbonatation. Earthy, stable like aroma with a touch of citrus and hay. Lemony, citric, acid flavors. Balanced, complex and addictive. Refreshing. Light MF but firm, refreshing. Excellent, not overly sour, kriek. Glouglouburp (2839), Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The Kriek essentials are there: cherries, funkiness, sourness, etc. What’s different about this one though is a relative softness. Less sharp/aggressive than some other krieks. I’d even say it felt a little sweet. Not faro-sweet but certainly not as dry and funky as some other Krieks. Flavour of fresh cherries, smooth sourness, lactic/cheesy yeast and a nice round mouthfeel. As a beer it is very good but as a Kriek it is average. Relatively speaking it is softer than an adult movie on public tv. I like my Krieks sharper and my adult movies on pay tv. beermouth (435), Langeskov, Denmark

Sweetish cherry aroma with ’horseblanket’ coming later, along with a hint of spices (cinnamon) and wood. The taste begins sweetish, pronouncing cherries, yet finishes in an almost biting acidity. Medium bodied with some carbonation and a bit soapy, sweetener-like finish. A good compromise between oude kriek and commercial syrups, leaning more towards the former than i. e.
