375ml bottle via Kim Johansen, thanks Kim. Pours reddish brown with no head. Nose is tart and dry and overall strange. Taste is quite tart and full of big chewy cherries. Overall pretty good, not amazing, wasn’t expecting amazing, but I like it.

Dark and hazy red. Sweet and woody aroma of cherries. The flavour is perfectly balanced: not as sour as the aggresive krieks, and not as sweet and artificial as the worst of the krieks. Highly drinkable and refreshing - the best kriek I’ve had.

Sadly I wish Id gotten JKs bottle. This was delicious, but not as tart as Id hoped. A wonderful red color but with a mildly tart aroma and flavor. A very nice cherry aroma and flavor, but not what Id hoped based on Johns review.

375 ml bottle. Beautiful color. Decent sourness, balanced with a slight sweetness. Not as musty as most, but still very good.

750 ml bottle. Almost clear, dark red body with a tiny head. Aroma is sweet and sour cherry. Flavor is nice balanced between sweet and sour, cherry fruity as well (of course). Nice, drinkable, refreshing but not outstanding. Like it a lot anyway.

375ml bottle: poured reddish brown with a quickly dissipating pinkish head. Mild sour cherry aroma with yeast notes. Moderate sour taste with just a hint of sweetness and a full cherry flavor. Slightly watery finish but still quite nice.

Hazy reddish colour. Nose not so good. A nice sherryish taste. pale pink head. Medium sourness also light sweetness. A bottle (1882) tasted at Pikkulintu.

It is a little confusing the subject. They have different Kirek biers and do not know what is the difference. It was good like a cherry pie. Had it at GBBF 2008.
