They have different Kirek biers and do not know what is the difference. It was good like a cherry pie. Had it at GBBF 2008. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA

Dark cloudy red with suspended yeast, and a layer of foam that stays at nearly 1/2 inch more than 30 minutes after pouring into my Cantillon tumbler. Lambic aroma with sour cherry. More lambic flavor with yeast in the flavor, oak, and cherry. Some sugar, not much. Not as thick as Scharbekse, but thicker than some other krieks. Sour for sure, not Cantillon or Fontienen sour, but sour for sure. I did expect more sourness like Girardin Gueuze, but it doesn’t go so far. Purchased in Brugge, March 2007, Baccus Cornelius, with July 2006 stamped on the cap. TEJA (296), Stockholm, Sweden

No cherry aroma but wood-terpentine present or other unpure solvents. Too much leftover sugars for a kriek.Medium sour but the sugars cover much of it.
I wounder if the bottle could be to old or stored badly. CafeeOndineke (32), Aalst, Belgium

The flavour is also dominant cherries on a moderately sour background. Not too sweet, fairly light bodied. NoiZe (1382), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands
