Oct 11, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Deep reddish brown with a thick, creamy and rather stable head. Smoky, burned almost ashy malt flavours with a solid dose of bittering hops. Only a wee sweetness is hiding underneath. Not my kind of Schwarzes. 280402

Roasted and hoppy finish.
Nice schwarzbier.

Feb 21, 2008 Bottle. A deep red beer/almost black, with a big beige head. The aroma and taste is of roasted malt, light caramel notes and some fruit. Medium body with a roasted finsh.

Bottle, 4.9%. Weak roasted aroma. Clear, almost black colour. Nig big head, stable, tan, creamy and lacy. The flavour is mildly roasted with an underlying lager flavour. Quite mild, but ends with barley bitterness and roastedness. Thin, but OK drinkable. Typical Schwarzbier. 5 3 6 3 13
