On tap. Clear amber with a very small head. Faint caramel aroma with a very light hint of spicy hops. Mostly sweet flavor with just a hint of bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation and a clean smooth finish. This is a decent beer, more for the masses but nothing really wrong with it.

Clear amber with a white head. Mild toffee sweet malty aroma. Medium body. Mild flavor is lightly sweet toffee, then a bready malt dryness. Nicely bitter to finish. Weak even for an Amber Ale

[1643-20080901] Tap. Fresh fruit yeast and grainy malt aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting foam off-white head and some lacing. Grainy mild citrus yeast flavour. Lightly bitter medium body. Quite good.

2008-09-01. Dark copper body with a modest off-white head. (3+) Mild hops in the aroma over toasty caramel malt. (7+) Flavour has a decent bit of bitterness, hops, good malt core but the bitterness is the focus. (7+) Average plus. Simple, but solid. On tap at Steamers, Ketchikan

6/3/08 On draught. Aroma and flavor both favor sweet malt over bittering, with the flavor being very well balanced. Appeance is a slightly hazy copper. Overall, very easy drinking.

Almost forgot about this one. Remembered it when looking back through my Alaska vacation photos. I was on a major amber kick during the trip, and I had this one with King Crab legs for lunch at the brewpub. Unfortunately, we were on our way through Anchorage and I didn’t get to try more of their offerrings. The beer is your typical amber. Nice reddish color with a medium off-white head. Sweet malty, caramel aroma. Flavor was primarily caramel and toffee based malts. Smooth and easy drinking, but on the sticky side. Decent amber, made better with fresh crab legs!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a translucent copper golden amber with a smaller lacing white head. Aroma of root beer?, some caramel malt, sweet malts and light citrus. Flavor of the same caramel malts, some toffee, nuts and light hop bitterness.
