Commercial Description:
Aged in Jim Beam barrels. Medium bodied, malty lager, with big flavors of vanilla, bourbon and chocolate. The color is a brilliant dark ruby. Smoooooth. Nitrogenated.

FoBAB Chicago, 2007. Nice dark brown color, with a stiff tan head. I don’t get much of a Jim Beam presence here. What I do get is a fine taste of strong bock beer. Dark fruity malts with plum and raisins, light maple-flavored pipe tobacco. Is this not served in their Anchorage location?

Sampled at the Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer at Goose Island, Nov.11, 2005. Dark brown to black lager with thin moka head. Aroma of brown sugar and prunes. Smokey malt noted in mouth, with prunes and vanilla notes. Medium bodied.
