CaptBier (240), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jul 5, 2008 Tap at Chair 5 in Girdwood, Ak, on 7/5/8. Didnt really jump out at me but it got better as I drank it. Easy to drink, and goes well with F&C. My notes show it’s what Budweiser probably should taste like.
rkuhnel (1096), Eureka, California, USA Jun 28, 2008 On draft from the Depot in Wala Walla, this poured a golden color with a thin head and light lacing. Nose is of light malts and citrus hops. Nice creamy mouthfeel and the flavor of malt and hops in good balance. Dry and slightly bitter finish. Taken in total this was a really good beer. Bradrcr (568), Renton, Washington, USA Jun 14, 2008 6/3/08 On draught. This was just too thin and needed more malt sweetness to be a refreshing, easy drinking Blonde. BrewDad (1645), Olympia, Washington, USA Apr 30, 2008 Pint - Jakes Bar & Bistro - Steilacoom, WA
Aroma – Good mix of hops and malts.
Appearance – Light golden pale color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor – This was a very nice easy to drink blonde ale. Liked the flavor of malt and hops balance.
Palate – Great Mouthfeel, nice texture with a good dry finish.
Overall – This was a great beer. A perfect beer for those hot days mowing the lawn. Was at awe this was from Alaska. Wonder what a hot day is for them? It was brewed very nicely.
TomDecapolis (2407), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 9, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a translucent golden with a smaller bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of corn, some grassiness, hints of citrus. Flavor of cereal grains, some corny sweetness, light hop bitterness. Crisp and refreshing.
