Copper golden color, small white head. Honeyish flowery hoppy aroma. Watery palate. Caramelly, hard malty front. Finishing more fruity. Long bitter aftertaste with hints of nuts. Simple, very standard real ale. AndrewC (70), Canterbury, Kent, England

It was a brown bitter like thing much like the other bottles of Glastonbury I’d had. Can’t say I’ll be desperately seeking it out in the future. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Slightly coffee-tinged brown ale aroma. Taste completely different, more like fruit tea and a touch of light belgian ale. Something a bit watery and dishwatery about the taste, but has decent nuttiness too, and some fruity esters. OK quaff, but not jumping out and grabbing me. Later I am sure I detected clove. taunusmies (277), Finland

At first there wasn’t much flavour but a subtle maltiness soon appeared. Once this happened i realised that this is a pleasant well bottled ate. Very professional label demonstrating how far micros have come over the past few years.
