Copper golden color, small white head. Honeyish flowery hoppy aroma. Watery palate. Caramelly, hard malty front. Finishing more fruity. Long bitter aftertaste with hints of nuts. Simple, very standard real ale.

Bottle. Can’t remember much about this. It was a brown bitter like thing much like the other bottles of Glastonbury I’d had. Can’t say I’ll be desperately seeking it out in the future.

Cask (St. Urhos, Helsinki) - almost uniquely, Anna did not have this too
Slightly coffee-tinged brown ale aroma. Taste completely different, more like fruit tea and a touch of light belgian ale. Something a bit watery and dishwatery about the taste, but has decent nuttiness too, and some fruity esters. OK quaff, but not jumping out and grabbing me. Later I am sure I detected clove.

(Real ale) Pours clear amber colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Moderately malty aroma with hints of flowery hops and berries. Grassy notes, slighty yeasty. Nice bitterness. Carbonation is mild; mouthfeel is smooth, maybe a bit on the watery side.

Bottle. Amber with a small head. Aromas are light sweet malts with citrus and metal. Flavours are weetabix malts and dry hops with tea, Nice resinous citrus with hints of smooth vanilla. Dry on the finish. A traditional bitter.

Bottle. Pleasant aroma upon opening.. At first there wasn’t much flavour but a subtle maltiness soon appeared. Once this happened i realised that this is a pleasant well bottled ate. Very professional label demonstrating how far micros have come over the past few years.
