Seems shy. Sledge Jr (2692), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Feb 26, 2007 At the 2007 Big Beer, Belgians, & Barleywines Festival in Vail. Ruby red in a rich dark golden hue with a thick beige head that has fine staying power. Forms excellent lacing rings around the glass. Aroma is an excellent blend of medicinal smells and tea-like aromas. Flavor is packed with good hop bitterness mellowing the large malty syrup sweetness. Smooth palate with mild carbonation. I found this to be very yummy.
