Beer Guy99 (250), Maineville, Ohio, USA Oct 7, 2005 A half-hearted effort at brewing a good light beer. Head fades quickly over a fizzy yellow body. Not much in the way of hops and barley here. Flavor is fair and refreshing but not on par with say Old Milwaukee Light or Stroh’s Light. It’s flatter in flavor closer to Bud Light or something equally as ordinary.
This brewery knows it’s stuff when it comes to great packaging but they need to brew bigger, bolder beers that live up to the promise of the packaging. Lots of people will try it once because of the allure of the package but repeat buyers will be few. robertsreality (2462), Minnesota, USA Oct 27, 2004 Light Yellow Coloring. Sudsy Aroma and Taste...Little Stale....Otherwise Completely Void of Taste...and I Suppose for That Reason, Not the Worst Beer I’ve Had....yeah.... buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA Sep 25, 2007 I guess since everybody else rated it low I better do the same so I can prove what a true beer geek I am. NOPE!!! Trust me it is not great but it is not terrible. Light and boring??? Yes. Pours a super light gold with a faint head. Aroma is very mild corn, grains and malt. The flavor did seem to have bigger malt and corn in it along with hints of citrus. Actually it is not half bad. I have had much worse. turbo (1248), Arizona, USA Sep 15, 2005 Cool can bottle poured a very light yellow with no head.
Aroma was a watery malt and corn.
Flavor is watery, light malt , corn and very weak...Miller is better but cool can bottle that my kids can shoot the bb guns at! Cornfield (4343), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 2, 2005 It doesn’t get much lighter than this, this headless, extremely pale yellow drink. Not offensive (unless you paid $.99 for it like I did), because there’s not much here. Watery with a faint, sweet metallic aroma, the flavor should be described in terms of trace elements. Lightly carbonated corn syrup water with a finish that’s, well, wet. To quote my friend frankenkitty: " With a name like Gluek, it’s got to suck-ass ". Sal’s Beverage World, Elmhurst, IL
