Spicy and with a blanced honey-like sweetness. Yeast-notes Pub (4047), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Aug 10, 2007 Bottle conditioned, 330ml, at The Kings Tavern, Au Roy de la Biere, Sedan, France. Gold beer with white head. A nice find this pub, before visiting the chateau, quite a decent beer list. The beer is sweet and spicy, and i’m getting pretty cheesed with spice in beer now, sticky and somewhat lacking in finish. Average. JoeinUccle (667), Brussels, Belgium Aug 5, 2007 33 cL, translucent gold with a decent white head. Aroma is honey-like with touches of hops and spices. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly spiced and faintly bitter. Alcohol flavor is moderate, body is medium. Refreshing and balanced, nothing amazing but well made. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 2, 2007 Updated: Apr 19, 2007Bottled. Clear golden. Aroma of honey and yeast.
