Godefroy Rousse

Bottle, last year in La Roche, Belgium. Nice amber/orange colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, some spice. Flavour is fruity, caramel, sweet malts. All nicely balanced, soft and smooth palate. Good one for an amber beer.

Re taste (now from Du bocq, @ 2004 fom Moortgat) Bottle, 33 cl. Almost clear amber color, big creamy off-white head. Aroma notes of caramel, bit spice, malts. Medium body. Taste sweet, malts, caramel, little spice, hops bitterness, dry finish. Good regular amber ale.

Bouillon, Belgium Au fut Red with af distinct white head A delicate note of sourness

Clear amber beer with a small white head. Medium carbonation and body. A bit sourish and maltlike aroma. Light frothing on the tongue. Not much aftertaste. Everything very average or even beyond.

0.33l bottle in Bouillon, Belgium. Clear copper color with tall white, creamy head. Fruity, yeasty and spicy aroma. Taste is similar, a bit spicier than aroma. Decent beer.
