Clear, pale amber red body with a short lasting head. Some honey in the aroma after some caramel and nutty notes. Taste is similar to the aroma, a little boring really, may not have been very fresh so may try again at a later date.

Cask@The White Hart Inn, Winchcombe. Flat looking reddish beer with a gently hopped aroma and a weakly hopped and roasted flavour. Overall a very disappointing beer.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a clear, off-white head of small size. The aroma has a nice resiny hops on a sweet, toffee-ish background with bready notes. Caramel, pleasant citrusy and resiny hops, fruityness and a nice bitterness in the mouth. Medium to full-bodied and a pleasant carbonation. Pleasant finish with bitterness and malty sweetness. A really pleasant and easy drinkable beer. (081206)
