Clear, pale amber red body with a short lasting head. Some honey in the aroma after some caramel and nutty notes. Taste is similar to the aroma, a little boring really, may not have been very fresh so may try again at a later date.

Dec 11, 2009 Cask real ale 0.25L glass. Small thin head. Coppery colour. Roasty slightly toffeish taste with some hops. Fruitiness. At the end some hoppy bite. Nice coloured bitter. Slightly waterly but refreshing.Mild nose.

Jan 31, 2009 Bottle. A clear, dark golden beer with a clear, off-white head of small size. The aroma has a nice resiny hops on a sweet, toffee-ish background with bready notes. Caramel, pleasant citrusy and resiny hops, fruityness and a nice bitterness in the mouth. Medium to full-bodied and a pleasant carbonation. Pleasant finish with bitterness and malty sweetness.
