[2594-20091118] 341mL bottle. Mild yeast grains aroma. Slightly hazy, yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Straw yeast flavour has generic fruit. Light-medium body. Fair.

Bottle (341ml) courtesy of tupalev. Beer #4 of "Crappy to mediocre beer rating night". Probably not the best idea to follow a Pale Lager with a Pale Lager. Oh well. Pours a clear pale gold with an average size frothy white head. Aroma of grain and corn, of course, along with some sugar, bread and light hops. Flavour of grain, some sugar, sweet malt, light grassy hops and a corny, slightly unpleasant finish. Average bodied. Not the worst, it’s actually O.K. for a Pale Lager, but it’s not something I’d drink again.

341ml bottle from the brewery. Medium yellow, small white head. Grainy aroma with hints of citrus. Good taste - fresh crisp malt (lots of malt for the style) and some subtle citrus hops in the background. Quite dent actually. I’ll take the on tap version (if it is the same beer or not) but this is just fine and well worth it for the low price.

341 ml bottle from the brewery. Meh, its a pale lager. Not a bad beer but I see no reason to go back and buy it again.

Drank from bottle. Fruity aroma - banana, pear, and "sour Shreddies." Flavour is quite grainy. Some citrus and banana hits the tongue as well. Medium bodied (avoids being watery). Leaves little aftertaste and the mouth feeling clean.

Bottle from the brewery- Pours a deeper shade of gold, with a medium sized white cap. No real retention to speak of but nice lacing. The aroma is grainy upfront, but there is some lemony citrus notes with bread and grass. The flavour profile is similar to the kings with the lemon and hay/grass notes, but this is heavier on sweet malt, and the finish is thicker, and it finishes justa touch grainy and maybe a little cloying. Still better than anything the macros are throwing at us.

Bottle (341ml). Via trade with Matt7215. Pale gold, smallish white fizzy head. Sugary and grassy aroma, hint of pool liner. Tastes like generic Canadian lager, sugary, weedy, a hint of grains - fairly clean, actually, it started to go down pretty smooth. Slightly syrupy body, lightly carbonated, a little dead on the palate, but all in all not that bad - basic, but no chemical burn or harshness.

341 ml bottle. poured golden with a tiny white head and good carbonation. aromas are barnyard, and malt. flavours are clean and crisp. quite enjoyable and refreshing. this is the type of pale lager they make me not hate the style. its not a premium but its a good little beer.
