hellbilly (837), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Jul 12, 2008 500 ml bottle from ranch market... clear pale gold colored pour with a brief white film for a head. very vegetal aroma... corn-ish similar to masa, lemon grass, grain, spice, tartness and skunk. the palate is surprisingly sweet with nothing to back it up... vegetal/corn shows up again in the flavor along with an almost salty yeast element, wood/almost vanilla (i can’t think that this was intentional) and a strange herbal medicinal flavor on the finish. medium body borders full from the sugars. prickly mouth feel from the carbonation. this needs to be drank quickly as it gets even more bland and ’dead’ in the mouth as it warms...
