On tap in the Kutztown local. Pale yellow pour with a pleasant blueberry aroma on the nose. Small white foam head. Blueberry matrix with the Donner weiss texture. Malt smooth and low carbonation.

Aug 21, 2006 Say what you want about pale lagers/ales and fruited pale lagers/ales, but this one was something special. The pour was pale gold, so nothing great there, but I loved the aroma, a mix of natural smelling blueberries straight off the bush, plus some hopcitrus and pale malt. I could smell this one all day. As expected, the palate was on the light side in heft, but I truly enjoyed the blueberry flavor, which had the natural blueberry sweet/tart dichotomy, and was balanced with a crisp finish and extremely smooth beer. This one is very good.

Aug 19, 2006 On tap at the Golden Avalance Brew Pub. Poured a lighter yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of mainly stronger blueberries. Tastes of the same but not as strong as the aromas.
