Jul 29, 2004 In the bottle at the 2004 Crescent Moon Vintage Beer Tasting. This was from the late 80’s and was still fantastic! It was like drinking a homebrew. Big malt flavor and good hop overtones. Sad that this did not make it.

Jan 11, 2003 Light gold color. Small to no head. Aroma is malty with a slight touch of butterscotch. Not your typical tasting lager. Malty with a nice crisp finish. Kind of sweet. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is sweet.

Apr 23, 2002 My initial thoughts were another microbrewed shot at the classic Bohemian style but this is something completely different. A sweet butterscotch/toffee aroma and taste is a complete surprise while some hop cripness and dryness in the finish balances out pretty well. Decent lager and cheap too.

Oct 12, 2001 The lightest beer in the Golden Pacific line with a yeasty aromatic component. More character than typical might be ascribed to a distinct roasty component.
