Pours a hazy, golden-honey color; thin off-white head with patchy lacing. Solid aroma of Belgian sugars, cotton candy, and very light coriander; fruity overall and a bit sweet. Medium mouthfeel: chewy cotton candy, Belgian sugar, and lots of coriander present; not as dry or wheaty or salty as I would expect from a gose, but definitely shows a pleasant, drinkable cotton candy, estery belgian profile; probably more of a belgian ale than a gose; light carbonated; a touch of salt, very light. Medium finish: lightly toasted wheat, cotton candy, and a touch watery on the finish; bit of salt. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Sample at the brewery. Cloudy yellow with a fine-bubbled white head. Coriander is very heavy in the nose, comes across slightly soapy and floral but with considerable fresh fruit and citrus as well. Flavor is lightly tart and lightly acidic, the acidity resembles lemon juice at times, while the salt is quiet but noticeable, comes across quite crisp and refreshing with a medium dryness... though I’m not much of a fan of coriander and can only take it in small doses. Still, a very interesting beer, more brewers should make gose. Ungstrup (15275), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit and coriander. The flavor is sweet with primary notes of fruit - among them peaches, leading to a dry bitter and fruity finish. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2007 Draught, Falling Rock. Head is mostly diminishing. Body is hazy light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a strong note of lime/lemon zest. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Not as salty (in the nose or mouth) as the Bayerischer Bahnhof, nor could I detect any coriander, but it’s a pleasant beer. Had it not been named as a Gose, I might have just thought it was an American wheat. Quite lemon-limey in the nose (though not very tart). ratman197 (3238), Arvada, Colorado, USA
