Ringo (959), Loveland, Colorado, USA Feb 11, 2004 A surprise. I had never even heard of Golden's "second largest brewery" but saw this in a hole-in-the-wall store that I was buying a 12 pack of PBR at. Anyway, it has a fresh bottle conditioned flavor that I enjoy, I like brewery fresh beer and this had that taste. ratman197 (2360), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 1, 2005 Bottle poured a clear reddish-brown with a minamal offwhite head. Palate is a litrtle heavy for the summer, but about right for the style.Aromas of carmel, and brown sugar. Flavors of carmel malt, and a touch of toffee.
