Feb 11, 2004 A surprise. I had never even heard of Golden's "second largest brewery" but saw this in a hole-in-the-wall store that I was buying a 12 pack of PBR at. Anyway, it has a fresh bottle conditioned flavor that I enjoy, I like brewery fresh beer and this had that taste.

Jul 1, 2005 Bottle poured a clear reddish-brown with a minamal offwhite head. Palate is a litrtle heavy for the summer, but about right for the style.Aromas of carmel, and brown sugar. Flavors of carmel malt, and a touch of toffee.

Oct 22, 2005 Bottle. Pours a weak tea-brown with a faint floral aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel with a rounding out of hops and a bit of sugar. Palate is watery. Overall, decent.

Jun 22, 2005 Tap. Pours mahagoney with a thin tan head. Floral hop and caramel malt aroma. Caramel malt, brown sugar,a nd toffee flavor with a hop end. Medium bodied and creamy palate.

Dec 12, 2006 On tap at the Golden City Brew Pub. Poured a medium reddish / orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of grain, citrus and toffee. Thinner.
