Jan 8, 2008 Xmas gift from my cousin. Deep brown in color with no head. Nutty caramel malty aroma. Chocoloatety notes. Caramel and malty flavor. Roasty chocolatety notes. Medium bodied. Finish is malty. Decent beer.

Jul 12, 2007 The Dan Journal #73. tasted 2/10/2007. 220z bomber. Deep brown hue with a spotty off-white head. Malty and slight popcorn nose. Lively bodied. Great coffee roast. Lively effervescence. Nice dry citrus hop note. Moderate at best.

Dec 12, 2006 On tap at the Golden City Brew Pub. Poured a darker brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas and tastes of nuts, caramel, and toasted malts.

Oct 7, 2006 tap. this was their best in my opinion. clear brown pour with rising bubbles and no head. fruity floral aroma had me thinking this was going to be typical of their other brews but the palate was of burnt malts and balanced hops. Although this was closer to an amber than a Brown they seemed to have achieved something here.
