Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Mar 10, 2008 An aged Golden Delster from Capflu ca. Sept. 2006. The aroma has morphed to fake maple extract, or the aroma of someone suffering from phenylketonuria. In mouth, a vapid drink, sweet ketones coming out, very unpleasant and watery. Drain pour. My one and only Irani rating.
CapFlu (3339), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Sep 14, 2006 (250ml mini can) Many thanks to Oakes for pointing this beer out in a local Halal grocer. Pours a highly carbonated, quick dissipating head with a yellow body. Nose of 5-Alive with an emphasis on bruised cantaloupe. The flavour is of melons, ashtray, milk and club soda. Not a stellar beer. But luckily available nearby as it saves me the $4000 airfare for a flight to Tehran. Bov (4641), Bienne, Switzerland Jun 5, 2006 <!-- i -->can; courtesy of Oakes<!-- /i --> - slightly hazy pale golden colour with a little foam; terrible aroma of wort; sweet and very thin-bodied with a long and horrible aftertaste of wort and potatoes BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada May 3, 2006 Golden boby, slight haze and thinker white head. Aroma is cane sugar and grainy. Flavour is sweet, raw sugary and not pleasing. JoeMcPhee (3807), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Mar 9, 2006 250 ml can. Hazy golden colour with a thick white head. Sticky white lace. Aroma is fairly worty and sugary. A bit of toast, but much less robust than in the regular NA. Flavour is also quite sweet and sugary. Similar to many NA beers.
